On August 17, the Independence Day of Ukraine, the team of the Vinnytsia branch of the Free and Faithful NGO organized a patriotic event for veterans, military personnel and their families. The event was held in the Valley of the UBD in the city of Haysyn with the support of the NGO “Union of ATO Participants of Haysyn and Haysyn District”. Participants had the opportunity to spend time outdoors, enjoying active recreation and supporting each other.
The event began with a prayer for Ukraine and honoring the memory of those who gave their lives for the independence of our country, as well as those who are now defending our freedom. Viktor Pyhulia, head of the Vinnytsia branch of the Free and Faithful NGO, said: “Today we have gathered so that our military can feel support and remember the peaceful time when everything was different. Such events are not only about relaxation, but also about our respect and gratitude to the defenders of Ukraine. Our organization does everything possible to support veterans and develop veteran policy in Ukraine.”
The program of the event was rich and varied: an exhibition of military trophies, master classes, macrame weaving, animation for children, fishing, volleyball, table tennis, and a patriotic concert with the participation of local bands “Fantasia” and “Welcome”. The performance of the military orchestra of the National Guard of Ukraine “Chervona Kalyna” was particularly enthusiastic. In addition, consultations with lawyers and psychologists were organized for those interested.
