MPs encourage corruption in bleeding country

In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada approved and adopted as a basis draft law No. 11340, which will allow people to pay off criminal liability for corruption and make a deal with the investigation for money.

In case of a criminal offense, it will be possible to get away with it for the amount of UAH 204 thousand to UAH 2.04 million.
For UAH 2.057 million to UAH 20.4 million, it will be possible to get away with minor crimes.

An indulgence for committing a serious crime will cost from UAH 20.417 million to UAH 102 million.

For UAH 102-204 million, top corrupt officials will be able to avoid criminal punishment even for particularly serious crimes.
If I remember correctly, thanks to MPs, Ukraine may become the only example of legislative encouragement of corruption in a country at war.
To propose a de facto amnesty for those who should be shot like mad dogs and to have the majority of MPs support this idea is a manifestation of the complete devaluation of our own state!

There are no words to express the indignation and contempt of those who are fighting for their country for the authors of this openly anti-state nonsense.

Deputies, do you really think that anyone will forgive you for encouraging profiteering on soldiers’ blood?
Obviously, the next parliament will have to not only lustrate their shameful predecessors and cancel the results of the “work of the mentally ill” but, on the contrary, significantly toughen sanctions for corrupt officials.

No plea bargains or lenient measures, no parole, no statute of limitations for corruption during the war!
Moreover, all those who illegally profited during martial law should be punished.

Economically unjustified increase in the cost of goods and services, unfair economic activities to supply the Armed Forces, embezzlement in the defense procurement system, fraud with budget funds and international financial, logistical and humanitarian aid, shadow business in the interests of the enemy, abuse of monopoly position and other similar crimes that harm the state, the army, defense capabilities, honest entrepreneurs and consumers – no one should get away with it!
